40:00 :: 5.5+ miles

Easy run. Ran the Veteran's Day course in my new spikes--to break them in as well as get in some time on the course. It's quite the ankle breaker again, and it's helpful to practice some of the more technical sections before coming across the ravines, hidden logs, and micro-moguls at race pace.

I should have a couple of workouts over the next week, so today was a nice way to get recovered and ready for them.

Hey, just curious, but the countdown to your marathon says "0". Did you run it. Thanks for checking out my site. Mind if I add you as a link. p.s. how did you get you picture on the side and how did you build-up your daily readers? Also, I think I may need some Lydiard advice pretty soon. Later!

Oops...you found my old blog. I don't update this much anymore. This recent update was actually an accident.

Check out my Training Log for regular updates and info about my running.

I did run the marathon, and did a three entry race report on it you can check out here.

Getting the picture on the side involved some fiddling with the template code. Not easy to explain as it involves CSS. Basically, I'm just placing that photo as a background.

Building up an audience is just like training--consistency is key, and you get back what you give. Post regularly, read and comment on other's blogs, and over a year's time you will have a small army of dedicated readers.

Heh heh you're inspired me to get some spikes of my own! I hope the training is going well :)
